Huge LEGO Millennium Falcon Model has Over 70,000 Pieces
This massive brick build has a ton of exterior and interior detail – and this LEGO Millennium Falcon is built to fit Brickheadz rather than minifigs.
Is there a ship more infamous than the Millennium Falcon? She can outrun Imperial starships–and not the local bulk cruisers, mind you, but the big Corellian ships. Originally called The Stellar Envoy during the Clone Wars, this YT-1300f light freighter is one of the most heavily modified ships in the galaxy. When people think of Star Wars, this is one of the first ships they think of, next to the X-Wing and TIE Fighter.
Huge LEGO Millennium Falcon Model
16-year-old Radek Popik fell in love with the 2007 Millennium Falcon UCS set but wanted to go bigger. He built this massive freighter over eight months, but it took longer to gather all of the parts. It’s 5 feet 6 inches long and built to fit LEGO Brickheads, which are about 2 inches tall, inside of it.
This model is a feat of engineering and LEGO know-how. Popik routinely tweaked his LEGO Millennium Falcon design while he was building to get it just right. He also didn’t resort to using glues or non-LEGO parts to complete the model. The interior support structures took the longest to build.
