“THANK YOU LOS ANGELES, GOODNIGHT!” The lights go down and the crowd roars. Backstage, the performers shake off sweat, grin, and high five as they file through the dark recesses of the venue. The muffled sound of cheers can still be heard as they head out the stage door into the alley, where a brightly painted van waits for them. As they head towards it, though, a sleek black limousine pulls across the opening of the alleyway. The door opens, and an immaculate man in an immaculate suit gets out. His smile would look white and perfect to any passers-by, but the band sobers, as to their eyes his smile cracks unnaturally wide through skin that looks like oil-slick meat. He steps to the side, gestures, and a trio piles out of the limo. On the surface they too look like normal performers, dressed in the latest and hair up to there, but as they sling guitars into place and strum, the air crackles and the ground rumbles.
The band looks at each other, and nods. One slings their own guitar, one clacks their drumsticks over their head, one hits a keytar chord. The last pulls a microphone from out of nowhere, grins, and as a spotlight materializes on them yells, “ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!”

The Bad Patch is a hardcover tome featuring hundreds of plants, flowers, and vegetables of all kinds. Continuing the groundwork started in the award-winning Eldritch: the Book of Madness, what were once mundane fruit become monstrous things that bite and snap at the heels of adventurers, and a druid’s grove becomes a place of wonder (and often terror).
Bubble Net– Board / Card Game
Bubble Net is a meditative, multiplayer Solitaire game for 1 to many players, designed and illustrated by Cat Drayer, and developed by George Drayer.
What that means is that each player plays their own game, with their own whales, on their own board, simultaneously, but they share the outcomes of the central Fish deck each round.
In the wild, most humpback whales hunt by lunge fishing – they see a shoal of fish, and they lunge at them. It’s not very eff-FISH-cient!
Some pods of whales have developed a better technique, called “bubble net feeding”, where one whale dives down below the fish, blowing a spiral of confusing bubbles that encloses them, while the other whales swim around the outside, increasing the confusion with their songs and shadows.
