Totally Jawsome ‘Jaws’ LEGO Set Finally Available Next Month
Recreate the final showdown of the classic summer blockbuster with this fan-created Jaws LEGO set.
LEGO IDEAS has produced some fantastic, fan-created pop culture sets over the years. The Jaws LEGO set by creator Jonny Campbell has been on my radar since it was submitted nearly four years ago. The prototype is fantastic, it really captures the movie’s final chase. Jaws fans were clamoring for it to be approved so they could add it to their LEGO collection.
Campbell talked to the IDEAS team about the challenges of creating his set when it joined 10K club in 2021. Getting all of the elements just right took several months.
I had previously done a JAWS painting of the ORCA at sea so had already done a bit of research as to what it looked like. I watched lots of LEGO JAWS YouTube videos and researched JAWS pictures on the internet. In order to get all of the finer details I actually freeze-framed JAWS as I watched it so that I could catch a glimpse of the finer details taking notes as I went along. For the shark I wanted him to appear as he does for the majority of the movie (as a fake shark) so I looked at pictures of Great White sharks as well as photos of “Bruce” the actual animatronic shark for the movie.
That attention to detail and a ton of votes garnered his set an official release that you can pick up next month.
Jaws LEGO Set
The set includes an Ocra boat model with removable roof, an adjustable boom and rigging, plus plenty of iconic accessories from the movie. Place it on the brick built sea base with the shark attacking for a perfect display. It even comes with a printed tile with Chief Brody’s famous line (“You’re gonna need a bigger boat”).
It also comes with Chief Martin Brody, Matt Hooper, and Sam Quint minifigs. And, of course, the real star: a brick-built shark that can be mounted on its own display stand when not chasing after the Orca.

Back to the Future Time Machine
Recreated with details from the movies that include opening gull-wing doors and wheels that fold down for flight mode; as well as interior details like printed dashboard dates and an iconic light-up flux capacitor. It doesn’t stop there – there are a lot of Easter eggs in the accessories. The DeLorean has swappable license plates and comes with a banana and tin can to power the Mr. Fusion device.
