A new expansion for Imperium Maledictum invites the darkest of heresies aboard a city-ship in a new sourcebook from Cubicle 7. Check out His Glorious Shield.

Imperium Maledictum holds aloft the torch passed to it from Dark Heresy and other 40K RPGs of that generation. If you know, you know. And are likely hungry for more of that gameplay. Which is why Imperium Maledictum is here in the first place.

But even if you’ve never played a tabletop game of Rogue Trader and committed tech heresy, or Dark Heresy and committed regular heresy, there’s still plenty of reasons to love Cubicle 7’s other RPG set in the grim darkness of the distant future. And today we’re taking a look at one of them.

His Glorious Shield is an expansive new sourcebook that takes players to the icy seas of Jotungarth, aboard a massive city-ship named for the Emperor’s protection. In this supplement, you’ll delve deep into a single setting, full of plots, schemes, and heresies.

His Glorious Shield – Imperium Maledictum

Embark on a thrilling adventure aboard His Glorious shield, a vast city-ship sailing the frigid seasof Jotungarth. The bitter winds of this icy world are a lethal deterrent to life above deck, but existence within the confines of this wretched vessel is little better. Still, it is home to millions of Imperial citizens, each toiling away in loyal service to the Emperor, content with their lot and united in adoration of their enlightened rulers. At least, this is what Captain Valgaard would have you believe. Dissenters plot to claim her position as their own, and they are willing to risk sinking the only world they have ever known in the attempt.

So, what will you find in this book? A whole lot of resources for your GM. Including:

  • A list of NPCs each with motivations, plot hooks, and long-reaching schemes
  • A big map and guide of His Glorious Shield
  • Advice on how to use the supplement with Patrons of each faction
  • A guide to the most influential factions of the ship

It couples extremely well with the Imperium Maledictum Starter Set and is an excellent next destination once your party has decided to leave behind the confines of Hive Rokarth.
